Stunning at first light, impressive during the hot gold hush of the day and spectacular at sunset, the Weethalle Silos continue to attract visitors from across the globe. Depicting a shearer taking fleece from a Merino sheep and a farmer standing in a paddock of wheat assessing the quality of growing grain, the impressive mural covering the iconic Weethalle Silos is a tribute to the rich agricultural heritage of the district.
These were the first silos to be painted in NSW and provided the perfect canvas for the large scale artwork completed by renowned Melbourne based street artist Heesco in June 2017. Situated in open parkland in the main street of Weethalle, make sure to take the time to discover the quaint shops and cafes in the town.
