Feeding a Nation is part of the Lyrics, Landscapes and Lintels Public Art Trail and celebrates Leeton’s incredible irrigation story. The Compass pays tribute to the engineering prowess of the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission which was tasked with developing the MIA’s intricate network of canals, channels and drains to efficiently and effectively move water using predominantly gravity.
