Enjoy a glimpse into the past and wander through the Old Willandra Homestead. Spend the day cycling the Merton Trail or relaxing at Willandra Creek.

The homestead, shearers quarters, ram shed and woolshed have been preserved as models of time and are open for all to explore.

The homestead sits on the banks of the Willandra Creek and provide a seasonal habitat for many birds and animals including red kangaroos. The wetlands, woodlands and grassy plains are home to 23 species of reptile and over 195 different types of birds including the endangered plains wanderer.

Accommodation is available in the cottage, men’s quarters or camping under the stars.
