Originally built as “Waroowarung” for William Tyson, The Convent became the home to the Sisters of Preservation in the 1920s.  When the last of the sisters left in 1993 the Convent passed into private ownership again and has been meticulously restored to its former glory. A breathtaking stained glass entrance greets guests as they enter the building which offers both self-contained and B&B style accommodation. The Convent Café, also housed in the building provides full cooked breakfasts and barista-made coffee for guests and visitors alike.
