Located in the small village of Milbrulong between The Rock and Lockhart, the Milbrulong Water Tower mural features the bird rosella, which pays homage to the village name and the Wiradjuri heritage. Mulbirrang is the Wiradjuri word for rosella parrot. Below the water tower is the Rosella Walk with nesting boxes, picnic tables and heritage panels in which visitors can relax and enjoy.

The Riverina recognises the Wiradjuri people, who are the traditional custodians of these lands. We pay respect to the Wiradjuri people both past and present, and recognise the culture, strength, resilience and capacity of the Wiradjuri people. We also acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians to this country we all live in and share together.
